Endless opportunities to serve as a family getaway, corporate retreat, or income-producing ranch. Undisturbed wilderness, long-range views, ultimate privacy, and excellent hunting elevate this ranch to an exclusive category of its own. A tremendous amount of stewardship has been put into practice on the ranch with many areas systematically cleared of cedar, allowing a strong stand of native turf to cover the landscape. Improvements around the headquarters include two ranch houses built in the early 90s, a large equipment barn, a lighted skinning station, and a feed room. The ranch is located in the northwest corner of Gillespie County (in the historic Doss area) and is just 30± miles from historic Fredericksburg, which is ideal for those who want remoteness but also desire close proximity to a thriving community. One of the best low-fenced hunting ranches we have seen with abundant native wildlife. Good draws for animal cover, which includes a beautiful 2.2± mile wet-weather tributary named Salt Creek that bisects the ranch. There are several springs along the creek ideal for wildlife. The ranch provides ample watering stations to the native wildlife populations with 10 wells that have been strategically placed. A quality road system is in place on the ranch with 3± miles of interior chip-sealed roads, along with miles of additional interior ranch roads. The ranch is accessed via paved Bee Cave Road, which transitions into a private 3± mile paved road that dead ends into the ranch, providing easy access and a tremendous sense of privacy. The ranch is completely low fenced and is currently under a Wildlife Exemption.
