Gene spent 17 years with Kendall County finishing as Operations Manager. He served for 15 years under the direction of the Texas Veterans Commission as Kendall County's Veteran Service Officer, where he assisted local veterans in filing claims, determining eligibility, and any other veteran-related issues.
