Lonesome Oak is located 6+/- miles east of Pearsall off County Road 3300, and about an hour south of San Antonio.
Land
A gravel county road accesses the ranch. Two wet weather creeks with mature native brush and just enough open spots scattered about allow sightings of native game and areas to hunt quail. There are several areas for possible food plots to be planted. The property is high-fenced on two sides and low-fenced on two sides. A house, shed and large stock tank are included features. Blinds and feeders are in place and electricity is run throughout the property.
Improvements
A sturdy three-bedroom house is ready for guests with a bunk loft and massive fireplace. Large windows in the front let in the light, and a nice front porch allows for viewing the land and enjoying a cup of coffee. An implement shed is located nearby and a large stock tank is supplemented by a domestic water well near the house. Electricity runs through the property in two directions.
Wildlife
This is a good native game ranch supporting plenty of turkey, whitetail deer, quail, dove and hogs.
Water
The ranch has one working domestic water well that also supplements water into the large stock tank at the house. A plugged Carrizo water well could be retrofitted to pump volume water. It has electricity running to it.
