The ranch covers a diverse landscape, including sandy loam soils in the northern portion and higher elevations that plateaus in the southern portion. The northern area has large-scattered oaks, mesquite, cedar, and native brush, while the southern area features a variety of large-scattered oaks, including live oak, shin oak,Spanish oak, and cedar. The land is well-suited for cattle grazing and wildlife habitat, with a good turf of mixed native grasses.

County Line Ranch is fenced into four pastures and two small traps. The headquarters area includes a newer two-bedroom/two-bathroom home that was built in 2017 and is approximately 1,207± sf.
