Situated along State Hwy 29 and straddling the Menard/Mason County line, County Line Ranch is located about 18± miles from Mason, 20± miles from Menard, 24± miles from Brady, 37± miles from Junction, 60± miles from Fredericksburg, 79± miles from Kerrville, 114± miles from San Antonio, and 127± miles from Austin.

The ranch covers a diverse landscape, including sandy loam soils in the northern portion and higher elevations that plateaus in the southern portion. The northern area has large-scattered oaks, mesquite, cedar, and native brush, while the southern area features a variety of large-scattered oaks, including live oak, shin oak,Spanish oak, and cedar. The land is well-suited for cattle grazing and wildlife habitat, with a good turf of mixed native grasses.

County Line Ranch is fenced into four pastures and two small traps. The headquarters area includes a newer two-bedroom/two-bathroom home that was built in 2017 and is approximately 1,207± sf. Other improvements include a set of working pens and several metal barns.

The ranch boasts an excellent concentration of whitetail deer and turkey, along with some hogs, dove, and quail. The superb tree and brush cover provide an excellent habitat, making County Line Ranch home to an abundance of wildlife.

County Line Ranch is well-watered with two wells. The main well at the headquarters is equipped with a submersible pump, pressure system, reservoir, and waterlines, supplying several water troughs.
