From the Gillespie County Courthouse, travel 1± mile southeast on Main Street, turning left on RR 1631/ N. Olive Street. Travel 10.6± miles on RR 1631, turning left on Koennecke-Eckhardt Rd. The ranch is 1± mile down Koennecke-Eckhardt Rd on the left-hand side.

An incredibly diverse ranch from a vegetation standpoint. Post oak, live oak, blackjack oak, Spanish oak, and cedar are all present. The terrain has a gentle roll with 90± of elevation change throughout. A thick selection of native grasses covers the landscape, especially in the bottomland where deeper soils are present. There are four stock ponds on the property, each of them strategically located to capture run-off during wet parts of the year. One of the ponds located near the main entrance of the ranch is supplemented by a nearby water well and makes for a nice water feature.

Currently, a 700± sf hunters cabin could serve as a place to stay temporarily, while other improvements are being built. The cabin has a full bath, living space, and kitchen area.

Wildlife is in abundance with frequent sightings of whitetail deer, turkey, dove, and other animals native to the Texas Hill Country.

There are two existing water wells on the ranch. One well provides water to the hunter’s cabin and also supplements a nearby pond. The second water well is located near the front entrance of the ranch.
