From the Gillespie County Courthouse on Main Street in Fredericksburg, travel 4.3 +/- miles out Highway 87 North, turning left on Old Mason Road. Barons Creek Ranch has 530 +/- feet of a private, paved Hartmann Ranch Way, which is a private road.

The terrain has nicely elevated flat areas with big views, which provide wonderful building sites. The land transitions from the hilltops into beautiful draws with 120 +/- feet in elevation change. Enjoy a good interior ranch road system, which makes for easy maneuvering. There is a healthy selection of native grasses and a variety of different tree species such as live oak, Spanish oak, cedar elm, walnut, juniper, and pecan. Barons Creek is one of the more sought-after water features in Gillespie County. The creek meanders along the east boundary line for 500 +/- feet. The water flows from north to south, cascading in areas with a rock bottom floor. The creek banks are very accessible and relatively easy to walk in many areas. There are beautiful cypress trees along the creek, which make for a stunning Hill Country setting.
