Description
Eastland County Ranch is characterized by areas of elevation changes from bottom land to mesa tops, and by Live Oak, Post Oak and Spanish Oak hardwoods and mesquite. Presently, the owner is using the ranch for livestock and hunting. Perimeter fencing is in place and the ranch is accessed from a paved county road.
Location
From DeLeon, take CR 587 west to U.S. Hwy 183, then north to CR 375. Ranch is northeast of Rising Star on the Eastland and Comanche County line.
Wildlife
The ranch has a good game population that includes Whitetail deer, feral hog, wild turkey and dove.
Water
A community water line is in place. In addition, the property has 6 stock tanks and several wet weather creeks.
