Some select areas have thick timber, which, as a result, has provided exceptional cover for the native wildlife habitat. A thick array of native grass covers the landscape, resulting in a stunning Hill Country setting.
There is good accessibility along the banks of the river on both sides. The river is shallow, with a rock bottom on the south side of the bridge, but on the north side of the bridge, there are some deeper holes. A large number of sycamore trees line the river's banks, creating a beautiful setting.
