Bull Hollow Ranch is a good sized hunting ranch with outstanding views. High elevations and nice draws provide great lookout points for hunters and a MLD II allows longer hunting seasons. The rolling hill terrain is covered with healthy timbers and good native grass. A historic home, barns, and cattle pens are additional features of the property.
The ranch is located approximately 23 miles southeast of Sonora on Bond Road.
Bull Hollow Ranch is a nice 2,120 +/- acre ranch with outstanding views and good hunting opportunities. Elevation on the ranch ranges between 2,169 +/- feet to 2,293 +/- feet. The rolling terrain provides good lookout points for hunters. There is one hill top in particular that overlooks the ranch headquarters from over a half mile away. A couple of nice draws exist in the bottom land which serve as good cover for wildlife. These draws also have a tendency to retain some water during the wet season, making them a strategic location to hunt. The rolling hill terrain is covered with healthy live oaks, mesquite trees, juniper and good native grass. The ranch has abundant free-roaming game including whitetail deer, axis deer, blackbuck antelope, turkey, dove, quail and hogs making this a premier hunting ranch and a MLD II permit allows for longer hunting seasons. Trophy low fence axis have been taken in close proximity to the ranch in recent years, giving this hunting ground credibility. There is a strong whitetail population on the ranch as well. Paved frontage road for 1.5 +/- miles give great access to the ranch. Located approximately 23 miles southeast of Sonora.
Situated on the ranch is a nicely remodeled 4,800 +/- sq ft historic home equipped with three bedrooms and three and a half baths. The home includes a private study, dining room, spacious kitchen and multiple living rooms. Within the headquarters are several barns and a nice set of cattle pens. A good water trough system is in place around the pens at the ranch headquarters. Perimeter fencing is in good to fair shape with cross fencing in multiple areas.
