Location
The ranch is located approximately 9 miles northwest of Boerne, Texas. Less than two miles off of Interstate 10, at the end of Ragsdale Rd, a Class III County Road.

Intermittent springs occur in the valleys, feeding into the drainage way known as Allen Creek. In the main valley, the creek has been dammed into a nice 3.5 +/- acre lake, making it the centerpiece of the ranch. The edge of the lake has been well kept, providing a park-like setting, inviting the opportunity to spend the day fishing, swimming or camping. Elevation ranges from 1,580 +/- ft to a high point of 1,875 +/- ft, with a healthy array of Live Oak, Spanish Oak, Cedar Elm, Madrone, and Lacey Oak in the bottom land and Juniper trees along the hilltops. A good road system is in place and maneuvers through three main valleys, climbing to multiple hilltops. Several possible building sites provide impressive views of the beautiful Hill County scenery. With rich vegetation and multiple water sources, the ranch features frequent sightings of White-tail deer, Axis, turkey, hogs and other animals native to the area. Spring Lake Ranch is a nice recreational ranch for all ages with potential as a permanent residence or a nice weekend getaway.
Improvements
At the headquarters, is a rustic yet comfortable house along with another building for additional guests. A fire pit and cooking area are in the vicinity. There is a 1+/- acre field below the headquarters that would make a good food plot. A large portion of the roads are caliche.
